WALT: we are learning to write a persuasive

Hi, I'm Zav and I'm going to tell you about why I think pets should have the same rights as humans.

We need to respect pets because they are loyal to us and things loyal should not be disrespected in the way they are. so in that manner pets should not be disrespected in the way they are treated pets are practically humans just in a different form. pets need to be treated well and have someone to love not be dumped on the side of the road. 

So I've been working with my free range chickens and I've been donating eggs to the spca for them to put in the raffle and help them find nice homes. 

Did you know there are 46 spca centers in NZ and they have helped over 46,000 neglected or dumped animals. 

me and mum worked at donna dolittles for free for a while she was very very very strict on who took care of the animal.          

 She would ask do you have time for this animal? Did you know Henry Bergh created Spca in 1866 on april 10th.

and at least 6.5 million pets enter the american animal shelter each year!!! 

Did you know Humans have made animals pets for thousands of years. 

We need to take good care of animals so they can survive and keep them fit, not all skinny and boney like my little pony, so they can survive the purge or zombie apocalypse  or something, the SPCA is responsible for protecting and caring for abandoned animals  so that's why I think pets should have the same respect as humans.

What do you think I could do to improve on my speech?

I think writing my speech was hard for me cause it was my first time making a speech and and

I think the

easy bit was presenting it to the class cause i know all my class mates and I know some!!! of them wont judge me for what ive writen .

Draft - Duffy Theatre - Magic Bricks

Duffy was so excited because he was going to his favourite cousins house. but when he got there she was playing magic bricks there favorite online game. Duffy tried to say hi but she ignored him and continued playing magic bricks then he wanted to play outside but she did int want to even take a step away from the screen then he put on their Nana whet us glasses and he got pulled into the game and he asked her where he is she said i think your in the game Duffy she said how is that possible  then she paced backed and forth to be finished ... 

then he heared a voice it was the skin picker first there was a pirate skin we said NO!!! then a yellow skin we said NO!!! again then there was a buff costume we said YES!!! he put it on and did poses with his pythons 

First Draft - The Great Reading Adventure

I have written about my class assembly . I am at the editing stage so you might see some mistakes . I am still working on it and will post my published writing next week.

Last week on Friday it was our assembly the great reading adventure. I was Iron man, Millan was Hulk, Kade was Captain America, Kevin was Black panther, Tumoana was Spider, man mason.l was Bat man, we were the Avengers. the main characters were Duffy and his annoying little brother Scruffy. the first scene was Duffy Scruffy and Duffy's friends they were Shikayla and Mia scene 2 was cat in the hat the cat in the hat was hori thing 1 was alini thing 2 was awhi. in every book they get up to all sorts of mistuefe scene 3 was Maori myths and legends. our legend was Maui and his brothers make the sun go slower maui  was Tiena the brothers were jai Larelle and kiran. scene 4 was the super hero's that was us we came up doing our moves once we got up to the stage we started jumping in the air, none of us were in time. we told jokes like What did Iron man say to Spider man don't bug me or how does Batman's mum call him for dinner Dina Dina Dina Dina Dina Dina Dina batman. next was non fiction space lions netball's and dinosaurs they looked so cool space was Edmond and Charlie dinosaurs were carrie Edward and Reina. lions were Cassidy and Mason.t netball was Lara scene 6 was harry potter they were Cleo Chase Liv and Tuvalisa they all hopped up said stuff about harry potter then when chase said 1...2...3 they all said wingdium leviosa. then we all got up and sang the Duffy song.

First Draft - NZ Play House Presents the Hare and the Tortoise

Today the whole school went to see a mind blowing play called the hare and the tortoise acted by NZ play house the characters were humpty dumpty the hare ginger bread man AKA biscuit boy tortoise and piped piper the person that introduced the racers is gorgie porgie at the start they made us say all our names st the same time she made us laugh by saying our names were something something something i did int understand her the left was cheering for BISCUIT BOY and side right was cheering for you know the name hare  biscuit boys cheer was run run as fast as you can the hares cheer was oma hare oma hare we all yelled as loud as we can the cheer for the team your on but the hare won i was all like boooooooooooooooooo to the hare 

Fathers Day

For Fathers day I had to write a nomination for my dad I think I did pretty good .


My dad is a good dad he helps with math reading and spelling difficult words like opposition and other hard words. I love him like chocolate cake he takes me out for movies and gets me large popcorn bags and lollies. he’s always there for me I play league with him I try to tackle him like a bison but he tackles me like a beast we go home and watch movies he even got me a Yamaha 50 when I was 6 years old. I went in 3rd gear at koros farm I fell off on a bump and still holding on to the handles I run with the bike and jump back on like its nothing. Sometimes we go diving and dad takes me out deep were all the juicy crayfish are yummy and juicy like a plum From your favourite son ZAVIAH.JOB.
