WALT: Know why and how our oceans are being polluted

On Tuesday the Blake VR people came in to teach us about the oceans. They let us use the Oculus headsets and they flew us over some marine reserves, like Goat Island.  They took us under water and showed some water life. I learnt that seaweed provides oxygen to fish. I always thought they were just there for fish to feed on. It was an amazing experience. I loved it. A highlight was when a massive stingray smashed into the camera because it saw its refection. I named it reflect.

  1. Kia ora Zaviah,
Thank you for sharing your learning. Now I know what seaweed in our taiao provides for fish and in turn us if we eat the fish. I can connect this to our pepeha task - tōku pepeha where we look at how the parts of our taiao (environment) and why they are important to us. I am excited to see more of your work.
